Ronnie Mac Pack​

The Ronnie Mac Pack (RMP) is the official young professional auxiliary group of the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.

Our collective goal is to help make a difference in the lives of families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at a nearby medical facility. We provide volunteer and fundraising support for RMH Chapel Hill, as well as opportunities for fun and professional development for our members.

As stewards of the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, Ronnie Mac Pack members work together to raise money, volunteer their time and talents, and network with a slew of active community members. Ronnie Mac Pack members are leaders. Being a member of RMP means you are the type of person who wants to lend your talents to touch the lives of others. There are many ways to get involved with the Ronnie Mac Pack and help make a difference.
The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill relies on philanthropic gifts from the community to sustain the needs of the House. Help plan fun and unique fundraisers such as The Storybook Gala, Carolina Kids Classic, and Dine to Donate nights at local restaurants. You will also develop and discuss new or upcoming fundraising programs.
Social events are a great way to recruit new members, mix with new and old members, and enjoy fun activities with the Triangle’s finest young professionals. These events provide a relaxed and social atmosphere, while staying connected to the mission of the charity.
The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill is always in need of volunteers. RMP members could plan a monthly evening to cook a meal for our families, bake treats for the families, assist with day-to-day operations, do light housekeeping, host game nights, create fun activities for the families or help out with an event.
There are a number of leadership opportunities within the Ronnie Mac Pack. Members can coordinate volunteers as an activity team leader, chair one of the organization’s various social and fundraising events, or serve as one of the RMP’s elected leaders. Also, RMP members may participate in the charity’s various committees and work groups. Participating in RMP prepares young professionals for membership on a non-profit or philanthropic board.
Who Can Join?

Membership dues are $10 monthly. This covers the cost that a family is requested to pay per night’s stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. All young professionals in their early 20s to early 30s are welcome to join. We hope you will join a group that is making a difference for families in our community.
